Talk: Social inequality in overweight, obesity and health

Spend an afternoon with two international researchers in social inequality and gain insight into why inequality is a contributing factor in the development of high weight.

In Denmark and many other countries, there is a higher prevalence of obesity among people with lower social status compared to those with higher social status.

Has this always been the case? How do we measure it? What mechanisms might be at stake?

We will focus on these questions in our next talk.

The presentation and debate will be in English.
