Director of Centre for Childhood Health is stepping down

Director Morten Grønbæk has chosen to step down to dedicate more time to his family, research, and board work.

Under Morten Grønbæk’s leadership, the center has grown from a single employee to 25 staff members and has established 42 strategic projects to promote the health of children and young people—in collaboration with municipalities, NGOs, and Danish universities. Together with the center’s board, he has launched major cross-sector implementation and research initiatives, all aimed at improving children’s and young people’s health and well-being.

“I’ll be turning 65 soon, and I want to enjoy life a bit more while I can. I want to dedicate more time to board work, research, and above all, my family. That’s why I have agreed with the chairman of the board at the Center for Childhood Health, Jonas Egebart, that he and the rest of the board will find a new director who can continue to lead the center and its incredibly talented staff,” says Morten Grønbæk.

Morten Grønbæk will step down at the end of April 2025.
