Nanna Schneekloth Jarlstrup

Senior Project Manager, ph.d.

Nanna Jarlstrup is a Senior Project Manager working on how the environments in which children and young people grow up influence their health. She has particular expertise in structural prevention and the commercial determinants of health – in other words, how factors such as marketing, pricing, availability, and commercial interests shape the everyday choices of children, young people, and families.

Nanna works on projects focusing, among other things, on ultra-processed foods among young children and on parents’ perspectives on children’s health and well-being. She contributes expertise on how health behaviours are shaped by the surrounding environment and how prevention can be strengthened through environments that make healthy choices easier.

She has experience in project management, questionnaire-based research, data analysis, and evaluation. She holds a Master’s degree in Public Health Science from the University of Copenhagen and a PhD in tobacco and nicotine research with a focus on structural prevention.
