Josephine Funck Bilsteen

Josephine Bilsteen works on developing and managing partnerships that create sustainable change for children and young people in practice. She collaborates with municipalities, advocacy organisations, researchers, and other stakeholders, contributing project management, facilitation, and professional advisory support.

Josephine has particular expertise in children and young people in vulnerable situations and in how they can be given better opportunities to participate in the processes and communities that affect them. She facilitates workshops and cross-sector collaborations and is particularly committed to involving children and young people throughout the entire process.

Josephine has experience in educational research and epidemiological research examining health and disease in populations. She holds a degree in Public Health Science and a PhD in Epidemiology and Public Health.
